Our Partners

DECAP maintains partnerships & collaborations with a variety of institutions and facilities in Canada and Israel including UBC Animal Care Facilities, UBC Antibody Engineering Facility, UBC Modified Barrier Facility, and the UBC Ergonomics and Occupational Safety Working Groups, and we are currently a part of the Lab2Launch Accelerator Program with entrepreneurship@UBC. We also work with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 3D & Functional Printing Centre, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Centre for Innovation (HUJI Innovate).

We hold a number of Mitacs Canada industry-academia research grants, including an Accelerate COVID-19 research grant from Mitacs Canada in partnership with the lab of Dr. Horatio Bach, an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of British Columbia, Canada and a Mitacs Business Strategy Grant in conjunction with Douglas College, Canada.

We currently hold a joint grant from HUJI Innovate & the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Student Union to conduct research into the manufacture and usage of 3D-printed silver-filament laced faceshields and other PPE. In 2020 we were also selected as one of 8 finalists for the Falling Walls Impact Lab - Israel, and in 2021 we were a Vancouver Chapter finalist at the EO GSEA Competition.
